The 4100 TenGO Keyboard accessory is attached/connected electronically via the com port (19-Pin Connector)
located at the bottom of the compatible device. The keyboard layout is based on traditional QWERTY
keyboard but with 6 two-ways buttons integrated in the middle of the keyboard to allow TenGO
inputting (using 6 main keys). The keyboard is slide-able, allowing the user to input text
both in slid up or down mode. The keyboard also allows the Pocket PC to be docked even with
the keyboard attached.
TenGO Technology
The 4100 Keyboard also supports the patent pending TenGO typing mode where you can type words using only the 6 two-way buttons
integrated in the middle of the keyboard.
To switch from conventional QWERTY typing to TenGO typing is simple with just a click of a button
(the Green TenGOTM logo button at the bottom left of the keyboard).
In TenGO typing mode, you can:
Type on larger buttons (the large two-way buttons)
Achieve easier and faster text entry
Type for longer periods using lesser keys
Have minimal typing finger movements
Easy access to numeric input, and typing functions like cap, tab and the TenGO special Delete Word function
Type with the same familiarity, feel and flow of the conventional QWERTY keyboard
To provide even more value, the 4100 Keyboard pack comes with free license of the highly rated TenGO Soft Keyboard version
(v1.20). The TenGO Soft Keyboard allows quick stylus typing on the move without the 4100 Keyboard attached. This soft keyboard comes
with all the TenGO goodness of large keys, minimal stylus movements and easy and fast text inputting. To switch to the TenGO Soft Keyboard,
simply select TenGOTM on the SIP selector on the bottom right of the Pocket PC screen.
