How to Start TenGO Soft Keyboard
From your Audiovox PPC4100, access the application you want. In this case, we would be selecting the
Notes application. Tap the New button on the lower right side of the command bar at the bottom of the screen.
Select Note from the popup list.
To select the TenGO keyboard, tap the arrow key located on the bottom right of the Pocket PC screen and select TenGO as the input method.
TenGO uses an innovative tap-and-scribe method to input text in a Soft Keyboard implementation.
This makes text inputting easy, fast and ideal for extended typing on handheld pocket devices.
TAP METHOD:
In TenGO, the 26 alphabet keys are grouped into 6 large keys. Form a word by tapping on the buttons containing the letters of the word ONLY once. To key the word "he":
If the word displayed is not the word you want simply tap on the correct word choice (e.g. hq, jr) from the hint window.
SCRIBE METHOD:
To input a letter one at a time, just scribe/stroke across the letter you want. Any new word you create would be automatically added to the word library.
HOTZONE TYPING:
Advance users can type with only little gesture movements at the hot zone in the centre of the keyboard.
