A perfect text entry system and a perfect company A reviewer from London, UK, 2006-03-03 03:54:21
"I first saw Tengo when I was using a Palm device (and before it was available on this platform). It intrigued me and at the first opporunity I had to try it (when I moved across to the PPC camp) I did. And bought it within hours. I''m used to using T9 on phones, and this is similar but with a QWERTY layout. There was no learning curve - everything is where it should be. And it works!! If you''ve got to enter data into your PDA then this is THE BEST way to do it. And Ediwn''s customer service is second to none. I 100% recommend this product. Try it and you''ll never go back to scribbling on a PDA screen again. Thanks Edwin!"
TenGO is easy to learn and is a fast text entry method A reviewer from Leicestershire UK, 2006-01-28 07:03:57
"TenGO is certainly different yet easy to learn. I did not realise that it
has so many features and yet it is a fast text entry method. Excellent
value. TenGo were also most helpful and replied to queries immediately"
The best, most accurate, user
friendly text input solution for PPC! A reviewer from Edmonton, Alberta,
2005-11-24 23:08:10 "Unquestionably the most
advanced human-pda interface created. The developers have eliminated
the tedious nature of data input inherent in the pda design
with this implementation of predictive text, a learning dictionary,
and QWERTY key organization. I would recommend this software
to anyone, and for the money it is without question a "best
buy"!"
Speed and quality A reviewer from New Zealand,
2005-07-20 17:18:58 "As a long term and happy
TenGo user, I am delighted with this new release. The prediction
is several steps better than before and this helps the speed
too. Well done TenGo developers."
Marvellous A reviewer from Nelson, New Zealand,
2005-07-11 03:29:38 "As a long time and happy
user of TenGo, this latest release makes me even more happy.
The prediction is several steps up from before which means that
the speed is likewise. Pat on the back for the TenGo developers."
the best... A reviewer from San Diego, CA,
2005-06-28 04:50:36 "I have purchased and used
several different input methods for my samsung i700. Nothing
beats tengo. It is hands down the best input method of choice.
Buy it."
Should come with every Pocket
PC RBW from Edmonton, Canada, June
2, 2005 "Having tried, literally, every other
input system for the Pocket PC, including the keyboard, I was
overjoyed when I tried TenGo. I have now purchased two licenses.
This software is a work of geneius. It takes about a day of
use to learn and is then intuitive. The tap method is faster
and more accurate than tapping a key, the artificial intelligence
engine is brilliant, and is saves ware and tear on the screen
and eliminates writer's cramp. Support is fast and accurate.
Buy it. (I have no financial or other interest in this software.
I'm just a customer.)"
Simplistic text entry, Finally!
Kurt Pettit from Phoenix, Arizona,
May 19, 2005 "I have used many different products
for text entry over the years. Every entry device, ranging from
full screen keyboards to handwriting recognition, has the same
type of problems. They are either slow or so difficult to use
that they are impractical. You end up reverting to using the
default mini-keyboard. I installed the Tengo trial assuming
it would be just another of the many so-called keyboard replacements.
Within minutes, yes! minutes not hours or days, I was flying
through my meeting notes, emails, and other text entry. The
use of the automatic word entry when accompanied by the innovative
method of swiping the stylus across letters to quickly add non-standard
words such as names, makes writing entire paragraphs nothing
but a snap. This product is a great tool and will be used daily
by anyone that purchases it."
EXCELLENCE! Z. Upton, RN from California,
August 6, 2004 "This is simply the most awesome
note-taking device anywhere. I downloaded the trial version
and found myself taking rapid notes during hospital rounds and
even for classes with complex medical-nursing subjects. It simply
WORKS! Try it and see why I purchased and registered the best
program on my PDA."
The Best Keyboard Yet! Jitendra Misra from Dubai, United
Arab Emirates, June 30, 2004 "After trying
various keyboards, I have no hesitation in rating TenGo as the
best I have used. The speed and ease of entry are it's main
features and the learning capability is powerful. Typing is
now fun and I use my PDA much more than I used to. My Congratulations
to 'Xrgomics' on an absolutely wonderful product."
good but can be improved A reviewer from Singapore, June
1, 2004 "I find it one of the better implementation.
However, if it can improve its word suggestion engine and allow
for a bigger input area, this will truly be the best of class.
For example, in word suggestion - typing begin I would expect
beginning or beginner or any other relevant alternatives to
be suggested as alternative. However these words are not display
as possibilities even though they are in the dictionary. This
makes you literally type in the entire word. In Wordlogic I
would have all these suggested. I would buy this software even
though I have bought Wordlogic already if these enhancements
are in place. Also, there should be an option to suggest most
frequently used word."
Superb program Jeff from Swansea, UK, May 29,
2004 "There is no learning curve with this
program. You just hit the keys and you will make fewer errors
because it corrects them. As others have mentioned it works
like T9 on mobile phones but with the crucial difference that
you see the normal QWERTY keyboard - this is why there is no
learning curve. It is a bonus that it can do accented characters
very easily (you just stroke the key) and that it is very easy
to enter new words into the dictionary. It also has the most
comprehensive user manual that I've seen for some years but
the program is so easy to use that this is a somewhat redundant
feature. There is nothing like using a proper keyboard for speed
but how many of us want to carry such a thing around? This program,
simple as it is, is the best alternative and is even better
than the transcriber methods of handwriting on the screen -
at least that's my opinion. It is a very polished piece of software.
My congratulations to the author."
It is really helping me to save

I ever bought to increase my productivity."
Excellent Text Entry Application!
Absolutely Love It! Maren from Woodinville, WA, March

I couldn't live without TenGo. I do a lot of journalling on
my pocket pc and before TenGo it was a long tedious process.
TenGo is indispensable to me. Customer support is also excellent!
Worth every penny and by far one of the best application I ever
purchased. Thank you to developers of TenGo!
Arthritis Cliff Nighy from Nelson, New
Zealand, January 20, 2004
Pocket PC's are fiddly. I enjoy fiddling so that is no problem.
I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my hands and wrists hurt
and a conventional keyboard is not good for me. I find that
Tengo, after I had used it for a few hours and it had learned
the words that I like to use, is easily the best way that I
have found for entering text into my computer. I am amazed that
more people have not downloaded it. As a retired computer programmer
my only complaint is that I cannot think of any way that Tengo
could be improved!
GREAT POTENTIAL! REALLY! But Not
There Yet! A reviewer from Jakarta, October
3, 2003
After trying this software, i still hesitate to buy it. The
primary concern is, i came from a place where we will write
in English mostly about 20% only. Therefore, an ability to add
our custom dixtionary for our native tongue is most essensial!
There is a feature to add custom dictionary in Tengo, that is
by scribing. BUT this process is VERY ineffective and time consuming,
since we can only scribe one word at a time, in the Pocket PC
itself. Imagine adding 20000 native language words to Tengo...
Furthermore, there is no PC "custom dictionary builder",
like provided free of charge by Calligrapher, which can turn
a .txt file which contain our native words, into it's custom
dictionary file that we can send to our PPC easily. So, i think
this product is very potential. But still NOT THERE YET. Not
all PPC user write in English. Quite many write in other language.
Should we wait for our language version? Further more this will
hinder people who don't write in English to ever consider buying
this product. Awaiting to give this product a 5 star, if some
of this untouched potential is finally meet by the developer.
Excellent Product R. Mason from Alaska, October

This keyboard is really amazing. It is the only soft panel keyboard
I have found that allows me to enter data in terms of sentences,
rather than just pecking to make words. It bridges the gap from
letter tapping to sentence structure and composition ? with
a minimal learning curve. And because of the short distance
you have to travel, you can really build up some speed. For
data entry it's indispensable ? has easily entered the top five
must have apps for me.

I've only been using TenGO a couple of days, but I love it.
I decided between it and Fitaly on the basis of reading reviews
only -- they're each quite different, but TenGO just seemed
to fit my personality better -- I really didn't want to have
to learn to type again, no matter how many words per minute
I might achieve ;-)
Excellent Soft Keyboard! David from Hong Kong, SAR, August
28, 2003
Just want to congratulate the developer for such an excellent
soft keyboard. Must say that since I switched to tengo about
2 weeks ago, typng on my pocket pc is no longer a frustrating
chore but a fun thing to do. Tengo is now indispensible, and
has made my pocket pc much more productive. I no longer shy
from writing emails and taking long notes. I strongly encourage
pocket pc users to give tengo a try. There's very minimal learning,
especially when you're familiar with the qwerty layout. Have
fun!
Fast, friendly and virtually no
learning curve A reviewer from Vienna, Austria,
August 18, 2003 After trying to learn a number of input methods I was
up and running immediately with TenGo. It's so completely intuitive
and so much faster than any of the many input methods I've tried
-- it's an absolute pleasure to use, pure and simple. Anyone
skilled on a QWERTY keyboard will be perfectly comfortable with
TenGo. I think Xrgomics Corp. may have a killer app on their
hands... speaking of which, the company itself responds immediately
and is especially friendly, a true pleasure to deal with. I
look forward to more language versions of TenGo.
Speedy, easy to learn, and just
plain fun! karinatwork from British Columbia
(Canada), July 29, 2003
I bought this program after only a day of trying it out. It's
the first keyboard program that speeds up my typing while it
is actually easy to learn. After trying out handwriting recognition
and full screen keyboards I was always disappointed to realize
how unreliable and slow those programs were. So I continued
using the built in keyboard instead. But this time I found the
right program for me! Tengo is a keeper. It's actually fun to
use and surprisingly accurate. As an added bonus, their customer
service is very friendly and helpful. I can definitively recommend
this program.

Excellent input application, once you tried Tengo, there will
be no substitutes! The support is first class, when I upgraded
my device to the O2 atom, the support recieve to get the application
running on the new platform has never been easier.

Unquestionably the most accurate, easiest to learn and most
intuitive text input solution on the market. The developers
have successfully fused function, style and a user friendly
interface so as to maximize the human-PDA experience... two
thumbs up, ten stars and my personal gratitude -)
12-Oct 2005 by Rock Roberge using Dell Axim X50
Um, where's the option for 6 stars? This app is UNBELIEVABLE.
I haven't been motivated to leave a review in some time, but
I can't help myself. I hadn't found a usable "thumb keyboard",
but finally stumbled across this one. Instead of taking up most
of your screen to allow you to type with your thumbs, this app
works like T9 input on your cell phone... it breaks the alphabet
down into 6 main keys, and intelligently selects the word as
you type. And automatically adds new words to your custom dictionary.
I absolutely love this program, give it a try and see for yourself!
1-Oct 2005 by jeremy siquian using Dell Axim X30 624MHz
this is the best thing to ever imitate the speed of inputting
on a keyboard, its suprisingly good at it and after just 5 min
of using it I feel like ive mastered the way it works, definitely
worth the money.
30-Sep 2005 by Dainel Levy using Samsung i700
This is the best and fastest keyboard for data entry. It takes
very little getting use to since it is QWERTY. Its predictive
ability gets better as you use it. The graphics are easy on
the eyes which is what we pocket pc users need.
17-Aug 2005 by Mike Lanchester using Dell Axim

Very nice! Makes typing a breeze. It took me 30 sec. to learn
and I absolutely do not know how I got on without it!
14-Aug 2005 by Gary Agnello using Dell Axim X50
Believe me when I tell you that I have tried all the keyboards
out there and this is definately one of the best. No keyboard
is faster for entering text than Tengo. I have had it now for
over a year and couldn't be happier. The support has been wonderful
and very friendly. (thanks ng)

The TenGO keyboard is a very good idea that has been put into
practice extremely well. It is exactly what a user expects of
software - simple to learn, easy to use and it works flawlessly
on my VGA PPC. It pays for itself over and over in the time
and frustration that it saves. Excellent application and highly
recommended.

This is great Keyboard Application. I found it very useful and
speed up my typing. It worked perfect on my XDA II. I love it.
Thanks to Developer.

Must admit that I am totally won over by tengo. I have downloaded
and tried numerous on-screen keyboard software and none has
been as impressive as tengo. I certainly consider this as a
"killer app", especially for those who need to input
text frequently. Finally I can leave our bulky keyboard attachment
behind :-)

Tengo have truly made my Ipaq h5555 something other than an
expensive toy. The intuitiveness of this tiny input application
simply has to be seen to be believed. It's fast, simple and
has a "typo" checker built in! It's weighted word
usage feature is a must have, as it learns the words that are
used (typed) most often and saves a lot of time and effort.
Well done Tengo!!
14-Jul 2003 by Philip Tesler using Other
This has to be "THE BEST" keyboard utility for the
Pocket PC that I have tried. It definitely beats using any of
the letter recognition methods. It makes using the keyboard
method of input fast and accurate and now my method of choice.
I have been testing it on my Toshiba e335 for several days.
It is truly one of the most innovative pieces of software I
have seen in a long time. I strongly suggest that everybody
with a PPC give it a try.
